Adam and eve disobeyed the Lord ~ "So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died" – Genesis 5:5. ADAM AND EVE DISOBEYED THE LORD. If you resist King Kong, you are looking for trouble, they say. Fighting King Kong is already looking for trouble, let alone the Lord. And that was the first disaster that the first man, Adam and Eve, experienced. In his freedom man forgot himself, as a result of which he also forgot the Creator. A very expensive lesson. Paid by the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. WHAT FATAL MISTAKE WERE MADE BY ADAM AND EVE?. “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat”; “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” – (Genesis 2:16-17). Violating the commandments of the LORD! Disobeying the LORD! From the two verses above, we read the LORD’s commandment. Do not eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. We ask why God forbade Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of that tree? GOD WANTS OBEDIENCE IN FREE WILL. The LORD did not want to create man as robots at all. Move and act on the basis of control or command. Robots do not have their own will, everything is arranged. Man are different! The LORD wants man to be given free will, to be able to make choices. What can, what can't. What's good, what's bad.

Which one is constructive, which one is destructive. The LORD was very open, transparent to man from the beginning. This was HIS commandment, the fruit of all the trees in the garden may be eaten freely, except not the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For the day you eat of the fruit of that tree, you will surely die The instruction of HIS Word is very clear is it not? The LORD does not want to restrict the will of man. But the will of the LORD is, that within the free will given by Him, obedience must be maintained. That's the only problem! DO NO'T TAKE THE DEVIL'S TEMPTATION TOO LIGHTLY!. If it was not for the tempting devil, Eve wouldn't have eaten that fruit. Adam also fell into that temptation. The devil is the father of all liars. The devil is very good at twisting the Word of God. Nothing seems wrong. There seems to be no problem. If man doesn't obey GOD'S Word, it's only a matter of ime before we fall into Batman's trap. Listen to what the devil said to Eve at that time: “Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.” “For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” – (Genesis 3:4-5). YOU WILL BE LIKE GOD This is the real temptation. Makes man want to get out of their limitations. Smarter, more capable, richer, more powerful, more significant than other people, even wanting to be like the LORD. DESTRUCTION IS LOOKING AT YOUR LIFE. The lives of Adam and Eve were destroyed after their disobedience to HIS Word. They were driven out of the Garden of Eden. They were confronted by various kinds of suffering and difficulties which now unfolded before them. And the saddest thing, that the life of man was cursed before the LORD. Man must die! Man's life has since been curtailed because of sin, violating the commandment of the LORD! The very bitter experience of Adam and Eve had become a very expensive lesson for man. And it is proven, Adam's age which was originally unlimited, must end at the age of 930 years. When we live in greed, wanting more from others, destruction awaits. When we become arrogant, wanting to even match the strength of the LORD, destruction is at hand. When the seeds of disobedience to the LORD begin to grow, your life is at an end. Learn to live to be a fully obedient person to the LORD. Limit your dreams, which may make you arrogant and disobey the LORD. Meditate and become wise.
