Glory Be To God

Glory be to God ~ The foundation of God's word for this theme of our meditation, is taken from the letter Romans. Thus says the Lord: "That is eternal life to those who diligently do good, seeking glory, honour and immortality" - Romans 2:7. Some people like to be respected, valued, flattered, and always prioritized. Because it's not rare to try to be a good person. Trying to please people and ensuring that their presence is always welcome, admired and prioritized. They call these things fame worth seeking.

As we read today, the pursuit of fame is one of the points that can give a person eternal life. Glory, of course, means glory and honor. For now and forever be received before God in an eternal state.

 

Seeking the glory that God desires for us means seeking His kingdom and aligning our aspirations and goals with those of Heaven. Be faithful to Christ by submitting to Him. Strive diligently to do good by the power of the grace of Christ. Therefore, every believer must strive for true "glory". Not glory that maintains worldly pleasures and serves self-satisfaction, but glory that is centered on God, glory to God. The pursuit of glory must be done by maintaining God-given purity, living a life that pleases God, and focusing on eternal values. objective? Not, of course, in search of salvation, let alone praise.
