Praised For Faithful Service

Praised for faithful service ~ The foundation of God's Word on the subject of our meditation is found in the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Congregation of God in the city of Corinth. Therefore, God's words are: “We sent a brother with him, and he was praised in all the churches for his work in preaching the gospel” – 2 Corinthians 8:18.

In lectures, graduates who achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher will be given the title “Graduation with Excellence” or “Graduation with Excellence”. Those who graduate ‘Cum Laude’ will receive a special award and some will be given the opportunity to give a short speech at the end of the course.

Does that degree come by itself? Of course, you don’t get this prestigious title right away, but you will face many challenges in your studies. When Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, he specifically wrote about Titus’ ministry which had a big impact on the life of the congregation. He even awarded Titus the title “Blessed in all churches” for his work in preaching the gospel.

Titus’s ministry was amazing. Because he also passed the test deliberately set by the apostles at that time to assess his sincerity towards God’s work (ayat 22). Paul invites the Corinthian congregation to be grateful, respect, and love people like Titus (ayat 13).

The role of people like Titus is still very much needed by God’s Church today. Believers with a tried and tested track record, a heart that serves souls, and preaches the good news to unbelievers. Thank you for the Titus-like qualities at our local church. Their presence is very useful for the Kingdom of God.
