Lovers Conquer Anger

Lovers Conquer Anger ~ The basis of God's Word for the theme of our meditation is taken from the Gospel of Luke. These are the words of God. "But I say to you who listen to me, Love your enemies, and do good to those who hate you" (Luke 6:27).

Some people are quick to think badly or get angry easily. I've dealt with angry people, but I don't like to hear them being harsh. I learned to speak patiently and politely, even when my heart was broken.

When someone is constantly angry or being rude, it is often a sign that they are in a bad mood. Because vengeful people tend to hurt other people.

Our lives are too short to allow anger to contaminate our hearts and relationships. Instead of getting angry and clinging to the angry person's words, pray for the person and ask God for help.

Jesus knew it was not easy to love enemies, especially angry people who hurt us, but He commanded us to do it. The reason is that God is merciful to both the ungrateful and the wicked (v. 35).

The prayer of the righteous has great power and results (James 5:16). We may not be able to change the mind of an angry person, but God can, and He can work in extraordinary ways.

Even if we don't abuse someone, we can't prevent someone from scolding us, but we can control ourselves. Even if we don't abuse someone, we can't prevent someone from scolding us, but we can control our minds' reactions. Proverbs 19:11 says, “The heart is praised for its patience and the forgiveness of its sins.”
